Phoenix Fashion Week – Spring into Style 2017

Spring into Style 2017

Phoenix Fashion week – Spring into Style 2017

Spring into Style 2017 just wrapped up in March and the focus was on spring trends identified by 6 Valley stylists. This included a runway show of the trends plus a fashion marketplace. All of the festivities were held outside at The Phoenician and thankfully the weather was still enjoyable. The trends featured this year were Statement Sleeves, Floral (which won best in show), Traveler (i.e. travel style), Yellow, Mixed Prints, and Punk. My favorite themes were Punk and Mixed Prints because they were extremely edgy with lots of layering and elements of visual interest. However, I also loved the creativity and beauty of floral. The official recap photos from Phoenix Fashion Week can be viewed here. For my complete photos of the event see this link.

My favorite look from the Floral Trend
Fantastic look from Mixed Prints
Love the layering of clothes and metallics in this look from Mixed Prints

Lastly, Phoenix Fashion Week had a photo contest at the end of February where you had the opportunity to submit a photo of yourself wearing one of the trends featured in the show. My photo for the trend Mixed Prints won me two tickets to the event! Below is the photo of all of the winners from the trend photo contest plus my winning look.
