Schedule your time on the next fashion excursion!
Fashion Excursion Phoenix Saturday May 12, 2018:
Fashion Excursion Scottsdale Sunday May 20, 2018:
Fashion Excursions (aka Consignment Store Crawls) are when the shopping experience is planned and set up for you!!
You get to shop in amazing stores that I have selected, connect with like-minded women, get expert advice from me, shop for new clothes, have fun, enjoy lunch, happy hour or a glass of wine all while making new friends!
These events are small so that you can maximize your time with me to get style advice and connect with the other women. The excursions are offered twice a year.
Scheduled Fashion Excursions held twice a year
These excursions include our own private taxi, visits to two Phoenix or three Scottsdale consignment stores, expert advice plus end with a group lunch and/or happy hour. Offered semi-annually in the spring and fall, these are limited to the first five women who RSVP.
Holiday Small Business Shopping Excursion offered once a year
Only offered once a year in early December. This excursion includes visits to 4 local boutiques where you can shop for unique gifts for yourself or your friends and family. We will take the light rail between stores and end with a late lunch. This program is open to six women. Check back in later 2018 for the next Small Business Holiday Shopping Excursion.
What else should I do to prepare?

- Download your secondhand shopping strategy.
Where will we be going?
Depending on the excursion we will go to the following stores:
Phoenix Fashion Excursion – A Second Look Consignment Superstore and My Sister’s Closet (Town and Country). We end with a late lunch at 32Shea.
Scottsdale Fashion Excursion – My Sister’s Closet (Lincoln & Scottsdale Road), High Society Resale and Urban Exchange. We finish with lunch at Blanco Taco to grab some snacks and a drink.
Holiday Small Business Shopping – Practical Art, For The People, Frances and Bunky Boutique. We will finish at Oven and Vine for a late lunch.
Additional details will be provided when you book your appointment.
How much does it cost?
Fashion excursions are offered at $29-$59 per person and include private taxi service to the stores, expert advice from me and devoted time to shop for what you want. Cost does not include meals or cost of clothes. Private fashion excursions are priced based on the details of the event.
When are Fashion District Excursions offered?
Fashion excursions are offered monthly and can be scheduled using the buttons above. If you are interested in a private event- contact me here.
Who can go?
Open to any woman (18 years old or older) who wants to try consignment, check out new stores or wants time to shop in a small group setting without distraction. Young adults 13 – 18 can attend with a parent (private event for a birthday or other celebration).
Sustainability is an important part of my mission. Buying clothes from consignment stores is an excellent way to be impactful with your purchases, keep clothes out of the landfill, save money and have better options available to you. Check out this article for a bit more of the “why.”
How does it work?
Depending on the excursion we will meet at a store to start. We will then shop for about an hour at the store before moving on to the next store. You are free to shop for what you want, ask advice from me and other ladies and experiment with new styles. We have a private taxi to go between stores and hold our purchases while we move from store to store. The taxi will drive us between stores, back to the starting point and then we will have lunch or happy hour at the end.
What should I bring?
Bring water in a reusable water bottle, reusable shopping bags, snacks and cash/credit cards/debit cards. Wear clothes that are easy to change in and out of – examples – button-down blouses, flip-flops or slip on shoes, skirts, dresses, etc.
I want this shopping experience to be fun for everyone and everyone has their own shopping preferences. Please let me know if there is something, in particular, you are looking for while shopping, anything you need help with or if you just want to shop in peace!
Please note that because this a shopping trip with a number of people, there won’t be time for one on one shopping for everyone. I will be available for questions you may have, advice on how things look and to help you find what you are looking for.
I’m interested in a private event.
Perfect for a girls day out, bachelorette parties, birthdays and more! Private events are customized to your group and what part of town you want to shop at.
For adult women – These include private limo/SUV for up to 8 people, champagne or non-alcoholic sparkling wine, snacks, pickup at your hotel, and shopping at two stores. Lunch at the end can be added. Please contact me for pricing.
For teenagers/young adult women – age range 13 to 21 – these include taxi or limo service, snacks and lunch can be added. Parents please contact me using the button below for pricing.
Please schedule time to discuss your event with me (there is a short prep form).
Schedule Time to Speak with Loren
Totally above and beyond what I expected!
“I thought I’d walk away with a few good pieces of clothes. I walked away with much more than that!
I gained an entirely new wardrobe (for a steal!) and I have a much better understanding of how to shop the racks at Goodwill. I also learned how to measure clothes on the rack, saving me loads of time and frustration in the dressing room.”
– Abby H.
“We learned about shopping by measurement, selecting clothing that is right for us and a bit about color mixing too. We laughed, we shopped, we laughed, we shopped again.”
“It was so much fun! I loved that it was a small group of women and that we were all on ‘a mission.’ I could just do my thing and have fun. I learned about measurements and how to use them to find great clothes.”
– Angella B.
“Experience was better than expected. These visits reinforced what I learned during my private shopping with Loren. I am more confident in being able to tackle a store on my own.”
– Barbara C.
