Welcome, women who want a better clothing shopping experience and want have fun! If you…
Are tired of shopping by yourself, second guessing your choices in the fitting room and unable to get style advice at the stores you go to,
Would like help narrowing down what to focus on when shopping, picking the right style, and selecting the right sizes and fit,
Would like to learn the best ways to shop consignment so you don’t feel overwhelmed, then you’ve come to the right place!
It can be frustrating and time consuming to shop on your own.
If you keep trying to shop on your own, at the same stores and in the same way, you will get the same results. You may even find that you go shopping one day and return most of the items the next day because you aren’t happy with what you found. Perhaps you bring the items home and realize how little they go with what you already have. Think about the time and money you spend on clothes and shopping trips that don’t work out the way you wanted.
“This was so much fun and educational, I truly had a GREAT experience and learned how to shop efficiently. I want to thank you from the tips of my toes to the top of my head and can’t wait for more experiences with you so I can feel confident in everything I wear.” – Christie S.
“I just want to tell you what a great day Jacki & I had with you today! We actually stayed until 3:30 and shopped some more. You made the day so much fun and we are both delighted with our purchases!! See you soon my dear and thanks for a great day!!” – Vicki P.
When you shop with me on a shopping excursion, you will experience shopping success!
This means you will feel more confident in your clothing choices. You will second guess yourself less. You will only take back to the fitting room what is likely to work for you, fit you, and work with your existing clothes. You will try on less and take home more. You will get out of your comfort zone in a gentle way. You will be able to look at clothes differently through the eyes of a stylist. You will see stores and clothes differently and be able to more efficiently decide what you want to try on.
“Thanks for lighting the path for how to best shop for myself in an environment where I never expected to have any success building my wardrobe. I learned how to find plenty of quality clothing for a fraction of their retail price and there are clothes to fit all sizes, once you have your measurements in hand and know where to look.” – Ruth T.
Shopping Excursions are offered in one of two ways!
Monthly – Let’s takeover the stores (sort of)! Once a month, we will shop at one consignment store for about 90-minutes. I have selected some of my favorites in the Phoenix area to rotate throughout the year! These are limited to the first five women who RSVP.
Sunday, October 28, 12 pm – High Society Resale (Scottsdale)
Friday November 16, 4:30 pm – My Sister’s Closet (Phoenix)
Sunday, November 25, 12 pm – My Sister’s Close (Scottsdale)
Private Events – Tired of the same experiences for a girls’ day (or night) out? Try something new. Shop with your friends with a personal shopper! Perfect for celebrations, bachelorette parties, birthdays and just for fun! Private events are customized to your group and what part of town you want to shop at. Available for adult women and for teens. We can customize this to your needs and budget – either shopping at one store or “crawling” and shopping at multiple stores. Contact me to help you plan the perfect event!
Where will we be going?
Monthly Consignment Store Shopping: I pick a consignment store each month on a rotating schedule. These are stores in Scottsdale and Phoenix. They include: A Second Look Consignment Superstore (32nd St and Shea Blvd), My Sister’s Closet (Town and Country), My Sister’s Closet (Lincoln & Scottsdale Road), Urban Exchange (FLW and Scottsdale Road) and High Society Resale (Scottsdale Road and Shea Blvd). Additional details will be provided when you book your appointment.
How does it work?
Monthly Consignment Store Shopping: We will meet at the scheduled store, I will get your measurements taken and show you how to shop by measurement. We will shop for about 60 minutes or so. You are free to shop for what you want, ask advice from me and other ladies and experiment with new styles. Plan on 90 minutes total for the excursion. Of course you are free to shop for as much as you want before or after the event.
How much does it cost?
Monthly Consignment Store Shopping: These are offered at $49/person. Your investment includes getting your measurements taken and showing you how to shop by measurement, expert advice from me, and devoted time to shop for what you want. Price does not include cost of clothes.
Private fashion excursions are priced based on the details of your event.
What do I get? You get the VIP group shopping experience! Have your own personal shopper to take your measurements, offer styling advice, and help you decide what to buy. Get an objective opinion and expert advice to help you decide if the clothing will work for you, if it can be altered or tailored and suggestions with what to wear the items with.
These events are small so that you can maximize your time with me and receive personalized attention. You will get style advice and my insights for how to shop consignment effectively. I will take your measurements so you have those to refer to when shopping. I am in the fitting room area with you and I help you assess and review the items you found to help you decide if you should buy them.
When are Fashion Excursions offered? Monthly with occasional twice per month events. These can be scheduled using the buttons below. If you are interested in a private event- see below under “I’m interested in a private event.”
Who can go? Open to any woman (18 years old or older) who wants to try consignment, check out new stores or wants time to shop in a small group setting without distraction. Young adults 13 – 18 can attend with a parent (private event for a birthday or other celebration).
Why consignment? Sustainability is an important part of my mission. Buying clothes from consignment stores is an excellent way to be impactful with your purchases, keep clothes out of the landfill, save money and have better options available to you. Check out this article for a bit more of the “why.”

Totally above and beyond what I expected!
“I thought I’d walk away with a few good pieces of clothes. I walked away with much more than that!
I gained an entirely new wardrobe (for a steal!) and I have a much better understanding of how to shop the racks at Goodwill. I also learned how to measure clothes on the rack, saving me loads of time and frustration in the dressing room.”
– Abby H.
“We learned about shopping by measurement, selecting clothing that is right for us and a bit about color mixing too. We laughed, we shopped, we laughed, we shopped again.”
It was so much fun!
“I loved that it was a small group of women and that we were all on ‘a mission.’ I could just do my thing and have fun. I learned about measurements and how to use them to find great clothes.”
– Angella B.
Experience was better than expected.
“These visits reinforced what I learned during my private shopping with Loren. I am more confident in being able to tackle a store on my own.”
